  • How is Coach My Coach structured and when did you start?

    Coach My Sport is a Community Interest Company non profit and we were constituted in September 2017. We support the CMS Leadership Academy which works with young people disengaged at school, living with disabilities and from deprived backgrounds.

  • Are you covered buy insurance?

    Yes through Youth Scotland under written by Towergate


    Please note that accidents can happen and Coach My Sport cannot be held responsible for any injuries. Our coaches will minimise risk at all the sessions

  • Are your coaches 1st Aid trained?

    Yes they have had training together with Emergency Paediatric First Aid training

  • Have the coaches been trained on Safeguarding children?

    Yes with sportscotland

  • Have the coaches had training on Mental Health and well being for children and young people

    Yes through SD Consultancy, Education Through Cashback and 1stSport

  • Are you coaches PVG checked?

    Yes all coaches have been PVG checked through Youth Scotland

  • Do coaches have qualifications?

    Yes they do and they also do CPD training during the year. Qualifications include Modern Apprentice in sports management,


    through SD Consultancy, sportscotland, governing bodies (SFA, SRU, British Dodgeball) Education Through Cashback modules


    Goal Setting, Conflict Resolution, Communication, Human Connection


    Planning Effective Physical Activity Programmes and Working with Young People in Sport. 

  • Why Coach My Sport?

    We  believe our Multi Skills and Drills structured and progressive programme.

    • delivers energetic sessions for children with differing levels of ability
  • What is Multi Skills and Drills?

     With our Multi Skills and Drills  program we want to empower our coaches in their aim for a high quality motor development for the next generation. Multi Skills and Drills is a method to stimulate and enhance motor development and motor learning. The system ensures a well-rounded high-quality practice through a structured development. Multi Skills and Drills helps you to get more out of your practice time based on.

  • What should our children wear to classes?

    They will get a free Coach My Sport T shirt once they have signed up otherwise if they could  come in sports gear, trainers and some water.

  • Do they need equipment?

    All equipment is supplied.


  • Can parent stay to watch?

    We would encourage parents to stay with their children at the pre school level 

  • Is it open to children with disabilities?

    The classes are all inclusive but we would appreciate chatting to parents to discuss any specific needs so we can plan sessions accordingly 


  • Do we need to pay for entire block, what if our child does not like the classes?

    The first session is always a taster and is free so there is no obligation initially to pay upfront but after that we would want a block booking.

  • Are you affiliated to any other organisations?

    Yes the Chamber of Commerce, ClubSport Stirling, we are also members of Youth Scotland and work closely with other third sector organisations.
